What is Multicultural Education?

“There have been many definitions of multicultural education over the years. In general it is the development of skills and attitudes for people to function in a culturally diverse society. This means not just learning about other cultures, but also developing the attitudes to function in a multicultural society, including: awareness, understanding and acceptance of cultural attitudes.”
